What We Wore Wednesday & the Deets on My "Shop My Closet" Sale this FRIDAY!

Let's talk "Shop My Closet" and then move onto "What We Wore Wednesday"!

On Friday, I will be hosting a "Shop My Closet" sale on my Hello Neighbor Facebook page.  It had been my original intent to sell all the items on Instagram.  But, after purging my closet & seeing the sheer volume of clothes it just isn't reasonable.

So, this Friday morning I will upload a "Shop My Closet" photo album on my Hello Neighbor Facebook page.  You can access my page here.

Each photo will have a description & size of the items, as well as, the price (including shipping).  If you live in the Kansas City area and would like to arrange pick up, we can cut the shipping price out of the cost.

I have ALL sizes of clothing from M to 2XL and size 6-16.  All the clothing is in great condition, and has been washed & pressed.  (I hate wrinkly clothes)  Items that I didn't deem worthy for the sale will be donated.

I will post the album at 11am CST Friday.  The first person to comment with their Paypal email will "win" the item.  For those in the KC area & will do pick up, you can pay me in person.
All invoices need to be paid in 24 hours for those that I'm shipping.

I'll start posting some previews on my Facebook & Instagram (jillywilliams) account.  After I got done ironing everything last night, it was too dark to photograph the clothes.

Okay, now it's time for What We Wore Wednesday....it's been WAAAAAY too long....

A favorite Target tunic & new Target peep toe booties for summer.  My necklace is from an Instagram "Shop My Closet" sale & is actually a Kansas centennial coin!  How cool is that???  It made this Kansas girl pretty darn happy.  The bracelets are from Everyday Icing.  You can find them on Facebook.  They do a sale every Tuesday evening!

I picked up this little orange number & the shoes at Ross in Wichita.  I had never been to Ross before.  I don't like it near as much as TJ Maxx or Marshalls.  But, I scored the dress for $12.99 & the awesome Chinese Laundry sandals for $14.99.  The necklace is another Everyday Icing find.

I picked up this polkadot Old Navy shirt at the Salvation Army last summer.  I love it. I paired it with my white denim cropped pants & Guess sandals from Marshalls.  So easy.

My Lucky Brand thrift shirt paired with a thrift blazer from Savers.  I love this shirt.  It is so comfy.  I finally bought some very basic dark plain skinny jeans.  I've always been partial to a faded flare, but I am LOVING these.  Plus it brings back memories of college every time I bend over to peg & roll them. (giggles)  The shoes are another Ross find....again by Chinese laundry.  I think you can see a trend.  I love Chinese Laundry shoes!

I had the awesome privilege of meeting & working with Branch & Dean out of Nashville at the Bill Self Golf Classic VIP Dinner.  If you haven't heard them, check them out on You Tube.  These guys are the best!  Seriously.

A little boho chic for a Friday.  Love this top from Marshalls & the American Eagle jeans.  Faded & flared...still my favorite.  Again, with the bracelets.  Obviously worth the small investment!

Loving this scarf I picked up at the same "Shop My Closet" sale that I scored my Kansas necklace.  The colors are perfect for summer and spring.  I paired it with a thrift Gap V-neck lightweight sweater & my skinny jeans.

It definitely feels like summer here in Kansas.  I am loving this striped thrift Gap t-shirt.  Again, the white denim. (you'll see those a lot this summer providing I can keep them clean).  And, glittery gold sandals from Target.

Absolutely loving this Ann Taylor LOFT skirt I scored at Savers.  I paired with with a chambray shirt from Marshalls, cardi from Target & some peep toes from TJ Maxx.  The necklace was a Macy's find in Manhattan, KS.  And, my purse is a recent thrift find as well.  My son asked me if I was "downsizing".  LOL.  I usually carry big satchel bags!

Finally, a lovely summer tunic from Marshalls that I think may have been a swimsuit cover up, but I wear it for a blouse.  My skinny jeans & Chinese Laundry shoes finish it out.

So, there you have it....What I Wore.

Now, let's see what Roo wore....

As always, swoon worthy.  Love this girl's style!  Here is the run down on the outfit...

Wool blazer from Target for $10! Black tank top from Target, purple cropped trouser from Express, black wedges from Charles & David via Nordstrom rack. Paper mâché pearl necklace from Just the Thing boutique in High Point, NC. Brass charm bracelet holds my father's high school letterman's medals. His high school girlfriend wore it (not my mother).

I love the charm bracelet!  What a fantastic idea!  And, I love the back story behind it.  Roo is one of SEVEN kiddos.  And, her Daddy is pretty crazy about her mama!  So, I think the despite not wearing the letterman's jacket....it turned out A-OK.

Well, that wraps up What We Wore Wednesday.  If you would like to submit what you wore, just send me a picture & the details of your #ootd to justjilly@rocketmail.com.  I would love to share what you wore!

Spread the word about my Shop My Closet sale....proceeds will be helping a certain 17 year old kiddo get some needed repairs on his car.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
