What I Wore Wednesday

Holy Cow!
How has it been more than a MONTH since I posted?

So many changes...
So much happening...
We'll catch up on that later.

For now, let's just do a little
What I Wore
because it's Wednesday...
and gloomy...
and I'm tired from my move
& serious subjects.

My new Hen & Chicks cuff is a favorite.
May it be so.
Target boyfriend jeans, booties, a loose tee & a comfy sweater
were perfect for a winter/spring day.
Those of you not from the Midwest may not understand this concept.
But, those of us who live here understand that we can have ALL four seasons in one day...
if not in one hour.
I made the necklace one evening while binging on Dexter.
How did I never know about this lovable serial killer before???

This Old Navy dress has been getting a lot of wear.
This time around I paired it with textured tights & my black booties to give it a change up.

I thrifted this vintage blouse & absolutely love it.
I plan to pair it with some flowy (yes, that's a word) off white pants this summer.
But, Target skinnies & a fave pair of Charlotte Russe heels worked this time.

This BCBG Max Azria sweater might just be my favorite of all time.
Even though the pom poms are forever getting caught in doors, drawers, elevators, etc...
A crisp white blouse has become a wardrobe staple.  Plus my Chines Laundry wedges & a necklace I made.

We had our annual Volunteer Appreciation Event & I had to pull out my favorite thrift skirt for the party!  It is swoon worthy.

Real like these days is a messy bun, boyfriend jeans & a long sweater.
It is getting to be my busy season at work...between that & my move...
I'm lucky I even match.

This Gap thrift blouse SCREAMS SPRING!
Yea for Spring!
My gold Dana Buchman wedges & a statement necklace from
Everyday Icing.
Oh, and denim trousers.  I love them!

The Franco Sarto leopard heels really steel the show.
Simple gold accessories.
Thrift black sweater.
And, a Daisy Fuentes shell with black slacks complete my "grown up" business look.

Y'all...I discovered The Mindy Project & let's just say that I was channeling my inner Mindy with this colorful ensemble.  A bit like a pinata.  But, oh so fun!
I signed my lease on my new house in this outfit...
it felt like a party!
Oh, the orange small cuff is another Hen & Chicks!

Banana Republic thrift trousers, thrift chambray blouse & a long sweater for the crazy weather.  And, my cuff with my #OLW from my dear friend, Gale.
I got to spend an amazing evening with Gale & her hubby seeing Fleetwood Mac in concert!
It was such fun!  And, a wonderful escape from "real" life.

Mixing & matching textures & patterns with this ensemble.
The jean jacket is a thrift find from Harolds.
The other pieces I have had FOREVER.

And, last but not least....my Spring dresses are unpacked!
Had a meeting to secure a new sponsor for the KC Wine Opener yesterday & busted this out.  Definitely time for a trip to Target for some self-tanner.  YIKES!

So, there ya have it.
I'm excited to share pictures with you of New Beginnings.
No, that is not a rehab, but the name of our new home!
I have always loved homes with "names"...and decided it doesn't have to be a "perfect" home to have a name...it just has to be my home.

Here is a little sneak peek of the family room the day we moved in...

Happy Wednesday, friends!
