The Life Of Leo

If you know me, you know I have a list (yes, an actual list) of animals that I someday plan to own.  Facebook & friends help me add to this ever growing menagerie.  

Someday, when I have a little bit a land, a lot more money & lost some sanity I will have:

an otter, hedgehog, tea cup pig, fainting goat, meerkat, Newfoundland, etc...etc...etc...

But, for now...

I have a Mini Rex Rabbit.

Forget crazy cat lady...

I am mad for this bunny rabbit.

So, here are a few glimpses of the Life of Leo.

If you happen to be in the neighborhood, stop in!

Leo loves company almost as much as he loves bananas, dried apricots & carrots. 

He also loves lemon pound cake, but that didn't end well (pun intended), so we'll skip that fiasco.

He loves the back of the couch & looking out the large picture window in the family room.

He rarely spends time in his cage any more, and when he does he makes sure to let us know it isn't his favorite thing. 

He can be a messy eater.  So, now we keep his food inside his cage & he just jumps in when he's ready to eat.

He thinks he would prefer people food. 

He loves to sleep behind the curtains.

And, hang out under the coffee table.

And, he keeps a close eye on the happenings in the backyard. 

He likes to stretch out.

And, he can climb just about anything. 

He seems to like to have his picture taken.

And, loves soft blankets & bouncing up on mama's bed.

I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more of Leo. 
He never fails to bring a smile to our faces.
We are so very glad to have this velvet furred creature living in New Beginnings.
