Others: Treat Your Teacher (The J.O.Y. Experiment)

I'm not gonna lie...I think the OTHERS in J.O.Y. is my favorite.  Don't get me wrong, I love my 5am quiet time with my Jesus.  But, with OTHERS I get to take all that He is teaching me & combine it with the gifts that He has given me & bless people.  Awesome.

This little Treat Your Teachers gift all started with a container of erasers on clearance at Office Max for 75 cents.

Using ribbon out of the craft closet, I wrapped them & hot glued it in place.

I also got the cute polka dot tags at Office Max on clearance too.  The Gunny spends a LOT of time at Office Max due to his business which in turn means that I spend a LOT of time at Office Max too.  I entertain myself by checking out their clearance items.  I have found some pretty cute stuff.

I then created a word document for the craft paper tags.  They say, "There is no mistaking it...SM NORTH teachers are the best!"  Get it....erasers....mistakes.  I'm hoping they get it.  Not everyone's brain works the way mine does.  Lucky them. (smile)

I used double-sided tape to adhere the craft brown tags to the polka dot tags & then hot glued them to the ribbon on the package.

I put the teachers names on the top with some tags I got at the Target Dollar Spot awhile back.  Seriously, the Target Dollar Spot is my nemesis.  Sometimes, I park at the opposite of the building so I don't have to walk by it.  Because, if I do walk by it...I know I'm adding at least $10 to my Target bill that day.  Well played, Target, well played.

I threw them in a sturdy bag & had my youngest deliver them to the office this morning.
Happiness in a bag.

Also, this wreath found a new home with a co-worker of mine. I had planned on selling the extra ones I had made, but then I thought..."Why not just bless some peeps?"  So, I am.

So, have you thought about how you are going to live out OTHERS this month?  Tell me.  I'd love to know.  Seriously.  Tell me.

Tonight, The Gunny and I are living out OTHERS with our small group at an inner city middle school with the KCK 7 project. I'll share more about it next week.

Happy Tuesday, friends.
