What I've Been Reading... PLUS a FREE Bookmark Printable

I'm a reader.
A gift given to me from my mama.
I was allowed only 30 minutes of TV Monday through Friday.
That's TOTAL...not a day!
And, ONE hour of Saturday morning cartoons.

The Gunny is a reader too.
He didn't even have a TV growing up.

So, needless to say...we're a bit crazy when let loose in a bookstore...

That was ONE trip.  ONE.  I've read them all.

This year, I've read...

I've got about three books going now.
One for the car. (Disconnect Kids)
One for beside the bed. (a Fannie Flagg)
One in the family room. (The Jesus Storybook Bible)

And, I have a list a mile long that I want to read written down in my journal.

I'd love to hear what you are reading....leave me a comment, so I can add to my list!

I thought some fun bookmarks would be in order....

You can download the printable here.

I'm planning on laminating them once I have them printed & cut.
Using a hole punch at the top & adding a ribbon.

Happy Weekend, friends!
GO. READ. A. BOOK.

  1. Right now I'm actually only reading the Bible until I finish it. (I'm reading it chronologically the way I'd read a hook....As much ad I want, no stopping, no studying.). The goal is to get the big picture and then move onto reading other booms and studying the Bible as usual. On my list for after this project are: "A Million Little Ways" by Emily Freeman, a Maeve Binchy , and whatever book Dee Henderson is releasing this year.

    Are you on goodreads?

    1. I spend time in the Word each morning...I couldn't imagine trying to face my day without it. I love the idea of reading it chronologically. I forgot to add "A Million Little Ways"...I am about 1/2 through it. I digest it in little chunks. I love Maeve Binchy...she and Jan Karon are my favorite authors. Thanks for sharing who you are reading! Have a fantastic day!
