We're back at it...securing your place in Bake Sale Stardom.
My son's school's drama department put on Annie Get Your Gun. We sold treats at Intermission for a class fundraiser. We brought Goo Goo Clusters & Cupcakes.
And, as I stated before...the packaging makes the product!
Goo Goo Clusters are simply melted chocolate (again, I used chocolate Almond Bark, marshmallow, and peanuts). We tied them up in cellophane bags with red gingham ribbon. I decorated boxes I bought at Dollar Tree with a red paisley ribbon that resembled a bandana & created little tags in Publisher. Filled the boxes with crinkle paper & dropped the clusters in. Fun!
Next I made chocolate cupcakes. Once they were cooled, I removed their wrappers & dropped them into clear 8oz Solo Cups. I them piped them with icing & added sprinkles.
Again, I packaged the cups in cello bags. Tied them with the bandana ribbon & attached a fork. Added a little "Annie Get Your Gun" tag with double-sided tape (which I hoard in mass quantity) & delivered them to school!
Best of the Bake Sale...I promise!
