I lead a busy life. Work. (Full Time Outside the Home) Wife. (To a Hubby that owns his own business & I help him out) Mama. (to 3 kiddos) Church. (& Small Group) Volunteer Work. Plus, trying to squeeze in some creative time. It's doesn't leave much time. And, it demands that I stay organized. I do utilize my Outlook calendar on my computer & phone. But, I needed more. And, regular day planners didn't do it for me. So, I created one in Publisher...nothing fancy. But, perfect for my needs.
Daily:
To Do: Work Items
What's Cookin: menu planner
Hearth & Home: projects for our house & a cleaning schedule
She's Crafty: Art & Crafts that I'm working on or need to ship
Hello Neighbor: My blog posts
It's A Date: Meetings/Appointments/Errands
This & That: items to add to my grocery/target/hobby lobby list
I also utilize a Master List:
The Master List I use with ALL the projects swirling around in my brain. I pick one or two & put them on my Daily Planner as time permits. I also have one for work as well.
I am constantly asked how I do all that I do. And, my Day Planner is most definitely a key part. As a "creative" person, this doesn't come naturally to me. So, in order to get everything accomplished & to insure nothing slides in between the cracks....my Daily Planner is a LIFE SAVER!
