Don't you just LOVE short work weeks???
Especially, when it's the week leading up to your TRIBE
coming into town!
All 14 of us will be gathered together this weekend,
and I am beyond excited to squeeze each of their necks,
cook up a feast for them, stuff them with
chocolate chip cookies & cake,
AND
shop, thrift, shop, thrift, craft, and shop some more.
So, it's Wednesday...
it's time for a little
What I Wore.
This week should be declared
"I picked it up at Target on clearance".
Not sure how it happened when I picked out my
clothes for the week that every single piece
happened to be from there...
could be because it's in the back
parking lot of my office building
& every time I run into the store
I get sucked into the vortex of
the Dollar Spot & Women's clothing.
Well played, Target, well played.
The above tunic, jeans & earrings are ALL from Target.
The necklace is from #thewalmarts.
And, the shoes are Betseyville by Betsey Johnson.
I just LOVE them, but they might be the most uncomfortable shoes I own.
I hate myself the next day.
But, I can't help it...
I MUST WEAR THEM.
I gladly suffer for beauty.
Again, a Target sweater & jeans.
The tank came from Costco...fo realz.
I picked it up in black & cream.
I wish I had bought them in all the colors.
My mama was stylin' the cutest striped sweater on the 4th...
when I asked here where she got it...
COSTCO!
Who knew???
The jewelry is Vera Wang & I picked it up at Kohl's
& the heels are from Charlotte Russe.
I love this dress from Target...
though I do feel a bit like an Easter egg in it.
Paired it with a fun, bright cardi, some great jewelry
& some nude heels to "tone it down" a bit.
I have been known to wear it with GOLD heels, but
I figured for the office...I'd go with the nude.
Picked up this sleeveless shift dress at Target for under $10 bucks on clearance,
The necklace is from HMK, the earrings from H&M, shoes from Ross & who
knows where all that arm candy came from...
but ya gotta have arm candy when you wear a simple solid dress.
Sometimes, I just like to play with color & see what happens when I throw
unexpected combos together...
such is the case with this ensemble.
The blouse, pants, sweater & necklaces are Target.

Heels from Charlotte Russe.
I love when happy accidents make FAB outfits.
Give it a try...
I forewent the typical Patriotic ensemble on the 4th &
pulled out my camo. Paired it with a t-shirt from a local KC maker, added some
sparkly shoes, and tossed on my vintage necklace that is an old Kansas coin & my
fave key necklace by Desi Punk Art...check her out on Instagram
or the 3rd floor of Bella Patina in the West Bottoms on First Weekends.

My shirt really is that bright..
it was such a fun thrift find.
I paired it with these amazing cropped flared leg jeans I picked up
on clearance at Target.
Some cute gold kitten heel sandals from Marshall's
& a necklace/earring combo from H&M.
So, there ya have it....
